This new scanner follows ALARA principles, which means that it guarantees the smallest dose of radiation for a superior image quality.
Digital radiography allows us to view the captured image directly on our computer screen. Besides being fast and precise, the main advantage of this technology is the limitation of radiation.
Paro Gatineau has an intraoral scanner allowing us to take a completely virtual impression of your mouth. With superior artificial intelligence, this technology allows us to accurately record the position of your teeth and implants in just a few minutes and view the results on the screen instantly. All our operatories at Paro Gatineau are equipped with intraoral cameras. This tool allows you to take quality photos of your oral cavity. Your professional will be able to more easily explain your condition and the results of treatments using this tool. A picture is worth a thousand words!
The Paro Gatineau team works with guided surgery technology. Thanks to the use of the intraoral scanner and the 3D scan, all your data can be integrated, superimposed and reconstructed in a specialized software. It's therefore possible to plan your implant surgery from A to Z, allowing us to place your implant(s) in a perfect position before you are even in the operating room. Guides are then virtually created to ensure a more predictable and time effective surgery. Your periodontist will always work together with your dentist to plan your case.
